More About Bill

Bill received his undergraduate degree from The College of Wooster and his master’s degree in clinical mental health counseling from Neumann University. He completed his clinical internship at Ashley Addiction Treatment followed by a four-year full-time position as an inpatient counselor for the Emerging Adult (EA) Program. While at Ashley, Bill worked with over 300 young adults and their families to navigate the struggles of substance use disorders, strained relationships, and a variety of co-occurring mental health conditions.

With significant experience in collaboration with other clinicians and psychologists, Bill is proficient in client assessment, creation of personalized treatment plans, and execution of various therapeutic interventions to assist clients in building self-efficacy. He focuses on helping his clients understand their condition(s), normalize their experience, implement strategies for healing, and restore a healthier sense of self through resiliency. In Bill’s opinion, his ability to “journey” with his clients to understand how they have internalized their life experiences is the basis for therapy. He believes, “If you can see from where they see, empathize with their struggle, and provide individualized support, you have the ingredients necessary for healing and change.”
